Portable Benefit Plans
- Group Universal Life Insurance was a portable plan available through Mercer. This benefit is no longer available to employees. If you have questions, they should be directed to Mercer at 1-800-642-5726.
“Qualifying Life Events” give employees the opportunity to make corresponding changes to their health benefit elections.
To make a change due to a qualified life event go to:

Go to the “Dependent” section,
Click “Add a Dependent” or “Delete a Previously Enrolled Individual”
These are time sensitive; Most changes need to be done within 31 days of the event (60 days for birth of a child).
