The Supplier Advocacy Office
The Supplier Advocacy Office provides assistance to suppliers interested in business opportunities with the Hanford Mission Essential Services Contract (HMESC) team. As the single point of contact for acquisition information, the Supplier Advocacy Office provides the procurement and technical points of contact and references for the HMESC team. Additionally, the Supplier Advocacy Office will provide timely response and assistance to specific supplier questions in coordination with the appropriate company/department in order to obtain an answer for the supplier.

Supplier Advocacy Office is available for:
  • One-on-one meetings with suppliers.
  • Facilitating vendor presentations with procurement contract officers and management.
  • Reviewing and approving subcontracting plans.
  • Maintaining database of potential suppliers.
  • Liaison to other Hanford contractors and DOE-HFO.
  • Helping suppliers direct their marketing efforts to the proper HMIS organization.
  • Gathering and reporting small business subcontracting achievements.
